Reiki Master, Melinda Kaur

Melinda Kaur has been a practicing Reiki Master and Reiki Teacher for over 16 years.  Her practice, Reiki Joy, is based out of Kirkland, Washington.  She was attuned in Glastonbury, England ( Stonehenge ) by William Rand to Karuna Master.  In her past 16 years as a Reiki Master and Karuna Master, Melinda has traversed the globe in the study and practice of Reiki.  Recently, Melinda traveled to the South of France on a spiritual journey with 11 others, opening up earth grids and balancing the feminine and male energies of the earth - a very empowering journey. 

The belief that everyone is a healer is at the core of Melinda's practice.  Through Reiki Joy, Melinda shares her natural gifts as a healer with others, and empowers others through training to facilitate their own self-healing.  Melinda teaches Usui Holy Fire Reiki 1 and Reiki 2 classes on an ongoing basis and helps to conduct 2 Reiki circles and a meditation group in Kirkland.  She is also a professional member of The Reiki Association.

Carin has always used the Golden Rule as her moral compass but felt on a deep level that her purpose in life was to help others.  So it was serendipitous when Reiki came into her life after exploring several healing arts modalities.  Becoming a Reiki Master has allowed her to share her natural gifts with others thorough intention and gentle touch. Incorporating crystals, essential oils and an understanding of the chakras enhances her ability to heal and affect others in a powerful way.

Reiki Healer & Massage Therapist, Karl Perkins

Massage Therapy, Meditation, Reiki, and Yoga are some of Karl’s favorite things in the world. His certifications include the 200-hour teacher training through CorePower Yoga on Capitol Hill, as well as the 750-hour massage therapy licensing program through Cortiva Massage Institute in Seattle. He has been practicing massage in clinical settings since graduating massage school in early 2014.  He incorporates personal yoga sessions with his clients as part of their treatment plan with specific modifications for any injuries or health restrictions. Karl has developed and honed deep tissue, neuromuscular, myofascial, and Thai yoga massage techniques into his massage, yoga & Reiki practices. He likes to meld his knowledge of anatomy and passion for the healing qualities of touch into his yoga teacher stylings. Karl also includes sound healing sessions with tuning forks into his guided meditations, massages, Reiki and Yin Yoga classes.
