Winter Ayurveda Workshop Series

Each of these workshops will focus on different aspects of learning to create harmony & balance between the external energies of the winter & the internal energy that we are experiencing. Come for learning, tasting, sharing. Take home practical tips, recipes, etc.
November 19th - Self Care Practices for Winter Wellness
Winter can be a challenging time for our bodies & minds. Learn how the external energies of Winter affect our internal energy & what we can do to balance these energies. Using tools from Ayurveda we can create a balance through food, lifestyle, routines, breathing techniques etc. Included in the workshop is a grounding Yoga Nidra (no experience required), some food & skin care recipes to balance the energies of winter.
December 17th - Solstice Celebration
Winter Solstice is a perfect time for reflection & renewal, a time to set intentions for the new year and deepen our connection with nature. In this workshop, we will create some self care & beauty rituals using essential oils, practice restorative yoga (wear comfortable clothes, no experience required) & set mindful intentions for the new year.
January 21st - Kitchen Medicine
Our immunity often feels low during the Winter months. Using tools from Ayurveda, learn how you can build your immunity & strengthen your digestion. We’ll do a grounding Yoga Nidra (no prior yoga experience required) and learn how to prevent & treat common winter ailments using remedies from your kitchen. You’ll take home simple recipes and practices to combat these winter ailments for body & mind.
